1. Who we are
Crenvio ("Crenvio", "we", "us") is a web and mobile app development agency based in Tamil Nadu, India. We operate the website www.crenvio.in. For any privacy question or request, email info@crenvio.in.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address, mobile number, the service you are interested in and your message. We also record the date and time of the submission and your IP address, to prevent spam and abuse.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this (see section 4).
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs technical details of requests to the site, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
Preferences stored on your device. If you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
We do not ask for payment details, government ID numbers or other sensitive personal data on this website.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and send you a confirmation that we received it.
- To prepare quotes, proposals and deliver the services you ask for.
- To understand how the website is used and improve its content and performance.
- To protect the website and contact form against spam, abuse and security threats.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We use your information with your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form) or for other purposes permitted under applicable Indian law. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Our SEO research tool and Google API Services
Crenvio uses an internal tool, the Crenvio SEO Research Tool, to plan organic search (SEO) content for our own website and for our clients' websites. The tool is used only by Crenvio staff. It is not offered to the public, and website visitors never sign in to it.
Google data the tool accesses. The tool signs in with Crenvio's own Google account and requests the Google Ads API scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords. It reads keyword ideas and historical keyword metrics (such as average monthly searches, competition and bid ranges) from Keyword Planner in Crenvio's own Google Ads account.
What the tool does not do. It does not access the Google accounts of website visitors or clients. It does not create, change or run advertising campaigns, and it does not read emails, contacts, files or any other Google account data.
How we use and share this data. Keyword data is used only for SEO research: choosing topics and keywords, and planning pages and articles. We may include research findings in reports we prepare for our clients. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising or profiling, and do not share it with anyone else except where required by law.
How we store and protect it. The access credentials for the tool are stored only on Crenvio's own devices and are never published or shared. Research results are kept in our internal working files for as long as they are useful for the related project.
Crenvio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
A Google account holder can remove the tool's access at any time from Google Account → Third-party connections.
7. How long we keep information
We keep contact form enquiries and related emails for as long as needed to respond, provide our services and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. If you do not become a client, you can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time. Anti-spam rate-limit records store only a one-way hash of your IP address and the times of recent submissions, not your name, email or message.
8. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. Contact form messages are sent over encrypted connections, and the credentials used to send email are stored outside the public website. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Ask us to correct, complete or update your personal data.
- Ask us to delete your personal data, where we no longer need it for a lawful purpose.
- Withdraw consent you have given us.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if it is not resolved.
To use any of these rights, email info@crenvio.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.
10. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
